I always knew I was meant to be an artist, a musician. “When I was a kid, I was always inventing little songs. Songs about what I was doing, or about the birds, the beach and anything that intrigued me. At 9 years old, I formed a small singing group with 5 best friends (Rose, Elinsia, Agnes, Mary and Susan) and we performed on “prize giving days” in school. Somewhere along the way, it just became obvious to me that I would keep doing it my whole life.”
Despite my rapidly increasing international fan base, I still think of myself as a working musician. “I love to write constantly, Otherwise, I worry that I’ll loose my creativity and that makes me anxious.” It never happens lol. I have gone months without writing yet my creativity was still there.
Late nights are my best writing hours. The world goes in to a stand still. I stay up in 48 hour increments. I have been this way from a very young age. This impressive work ethic was cultivated from discipline, morals, gratitude and humility.
Will I ever leave Music? “No, never. If I left, I would have no real connection to the Universe and of course nothing to write about. I love the journey it brings, the healing it provides to many and the people I’ve met around the world and still keep meeting along the way but nothing compares to the joy I feel expressing myself openly and creatively.”
